Privacy at Giddyway.

Accounts, training and nutrition

Giddyway stores account information and the profile details you provide, including fitness goals, age, height, weight, training preferences, country, timezone and ingredient exclusions. Saved workouts, recovery check-ins, food logs and menus support your plans, history, calorie estimates and streaks. The app uses Xano for its backend.

Photos, voice and AI coaching

Food photos and relevant profile or recent training context are sent to OpenAI when you request food analysis or personalised coaching. Recorded voice messages can be sent for transcription and a response. Optional spoken responses and workout cues use generated audio. Upload food images and recordings only when you want to use those features.

Optional profile photos and body-progress photos are stored for their app features. Body-progress photos are separate from the profile image shown to other members. Avoid including other people or unrelated personal information in uploads.

Member visibility and shared menus

Member-facing features can show your profile name, avatar, country and streak in rankings or social features. GiddyBuddy messages are intended for the members of the conversation.

Publishing a menu makes its recipes, declared ingredients, calories, cuisine and creator credit visible to other members. When you confirm use of a member’s menu, its creator can see your member name and latest use in a usage list. This does not share your weight, calorie target or food diary. Stopping publication removes the listing from discovery; copies already adopted by members retain creator credit.

Notifications and account emails

Push notifications use the device permission and app preferences you select, with Expo, Firebase and Apple delivery services where applicable. Account verification and recovery emails use Resend. You can adjust reminders and notification permissions in the app or device settings.

Membership and payments

Apple and Google process store purchases; RevenueCat helps verify subscription access. Web access passes use Paystack’s hosted checkout, where you enter payment details. Giddyway stores payment references and membership information to confirm access. Do not send payment-card details to support.

This website

The information pages do not use advertising trackers, analytics, external font services or a signup mailing list. Your hosting requests may appear in standard server access logs. Following store, email or checkout links takes you to the relevant provider.

The membership page holds its authentication token in memory rather than local storage or cookies. A payment reference can appear in its address to help you check a pending payment. Browser autofill and provider websites have their own settings and information practices.
