Michael Indjeian is an award-winning filmmaker with 20 years of diverse broadcast television, digital video and film production experience, working with clients in both the public and private sector. From creating children’s educational videos about the perils of playing on train tracks to producing highly entertaining TV shows, Michael’s enthusiasm and commitment to his art is unparalleled. As both a creative and organizational leader, Michael is responsible for earning his clients over 35 industry awards and, more importantly, often exceeding the desired outcome and vision of each project.
Most recent achievements include:
• Super Bowl XLVIII – Director and Producer for a five-video campaign celebrating the first-ever mass transit and cold weather Super Bowl.
• NJ Transit – Writer, Director and Producer for an award-winning educational film “Chicken on the Tracks” as part of a statewide awareness initiative.
• Lionsgate – Unit Production Manager for the USA unit of the WWII film “Chosen” starring Harvey Keitel.
• National Association of Professional Women – Production Supervisor and Producer for the national TV series, empowering and promoting prominent professional women, with host Star Jones.
Michael began his career in NYC, coordinating and managing music video productions for iconic artists such as Whitney Houston, Puff Daddy, Wu-Tang Clan and Blues Traveler. Michael would then transition to corporate projects, producing medical advertising campaigns for major pharmaceutical companies and agencies, such as FCB Healthcare and Glaxo Wellcome
During his tenure with 30fps Productions, Michael served as VP of Production, supervising all production and studio operations, producing and directing over 800 projects, and earning 30 Clio and Telly Awards. The projects consisted of commercials, TV series and corporate videos for major Fortune 500 companies. Previous clients include Sony, Pepsi, Avon, Gap, Hertz, Motorola, Black & Decker, Lumber Liquidators, HBO, AMC, USA, MTV, Discovery, TV Guide, Optimum, Port Authority of NY/NJ and IRS.
In 2005, Michael founded Giddy Productions to enable him to create original content of personal significance and, ultimately, build a company that possessed strong values and great artistic vision. One of those projects, which Michael wrote, directed and produced, was the breakthrough short film “Lucky Day” that won top prize at the 2007 Long Island International Film Expo. Additionally, Michael directed and produced several TV series and films, including “Oh, Ms. Tracy” a Disney-superhero driven pilot, “Redneck Weddings” an edgy reality-style series, “Ancient Tomorrow” an adventure documentary series and “Monster and Me” a family-holiday feature film.
Born in NJ, Michael attended Virginia Tech graduating with a B.A. in Communication Studies (Film) and has continued his education with notable industry experts including Robert McKee, Steven Pressfield, David S. Freeman, Darin Scott and Mark Travis, to name a few. Also, Michael is a published writer, who contributes to clients’ blogs and social media pages. His company serves as a volunteer sponsor for the Children’s Miracle Network, delivering multi-media packages for its fund-raising efforts.
